We'll Let Her Think She's One of Us is a 6" x 6" terracotta tile painted with acrylics and varnished. Then, as luck would have it, a one-pound hammer I was moving off of my work table slipped from my hand and fell onto the tile. After an extremely loud scream and a birage of words not uttered in polite society, I picked up the pieces and realized I had something really cool in my hands. Not only were there no crumbs, the pieces broke cleanly - so cleanly that I sealed the edges, mounted them onto an 8" wide x 10" high velvet-draped canvas, and outlined them with three-dimensional paint. Displayed in a 10" wide x 12" high wooden frame coated in white, the overal size measures 10" wide x 12" high, and approximately 7/8" thick. The tile pieces protrude beyond the canvas, making the work even more three-dimensional. It is indeed one-of-a-kind and ready to hang; I doubt very much I can drop that hammer with the same accidental precision!

This is a one-of-a-kind work. While there are no moving parts, deliberate care is needed. If the work need cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the surface of the tile pieces. if dust accumulates between the pieces, use a small, flat brush to gently sweep around the edges. Do not use detergents or cleansers, and do not submerge in liquid. Display in an area where activity is low; the edges of the tile pieces are pointed and an impact may result in minor injury to oneself and/or the work.
