Banana Split Taco with Sprinkles is an abstract mixed media work, based on seeing a friend's brand new ice cream parlor after complaining about the boredom of retirement for three months (true story). The work is a 7" wide x 5" high canvas panel painted with acrylics and three-dimensional paint, decorated with faux sprinkles and iridescent glitter, and mounted onto a 10" wide x 8" high canvas panel painted with acrylics. Try hard enough and you can just make out the taco shaped waffle shell with a banana poking out of each end, piled high with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream. The panels are mounted in a wooden white-coated frame, ready to hang.
